My Story

I was raised in a bilingual household by a French-Swiss mother and a British-Indian father which has afforded me an open-minded, global perspective and a proficient fluency of English and French. This also means that I am a dual citizen of Britain and France and possess the right to work anywhere in the UK and EU.

I grew up in Bromley, South London, and attended Hayes Secondary School for GCSE studies and Langley Park School for Boys for A Levels. At LPSB, I studied A Levels in the humanities subjects of government & politics, history and English literature. Whilst studying A Levels I supported my school as a prefect, joined the workforce as a care worker and delved into extracurricular interests, gaining certificates in musical theatre and child counselling.

I then pursued further education, enrolling at the University of Sussex to study a BA in Media and Journalism. Throughout my studies I've learned theoretical knowledge and research skills through critical analyses of the media. Plus, I've developed hands-on, practical skills in multimedia content production and journalistic practice that have fermented my enthusiasm to work in media. Alongside my studies I've been employed as a care worker for elderly, vulnerable people and carry the same requirement for compassion, respect, drive and integrity into the journalistic field. My particular interests lie at the intersection of politics, art and culture and I am ever curious in learning more about these subjects.

My next steps will be to graduate from university and build upon my practical experience in preparation for employment in the media. I will then work towards achieving an NCTJ diploma in multimedia journalism.
