My Story

I was raised in a bilingual household by a French-Swiss mother and a British-Indian father which has afforded me an open-minded, global perspective and a proficient fluency of English and French. This also means that I am a dual citizen of Britain and France and possess the right to work anywhere in the UK and EU.

I grew up in Bromley, South London, and attended Langley Park School for Boys Sixth Form College. I studied A Levels in the humanities subjects of government and politics, history and English literature. At the same time, I supported my school as a prefect, joined the workforce as a carer and delved into extracurricular interests, gaining certificates in musical theatre and child counselling.

I then enrolled at the University of Sussex, studying a BA in Media and Journalism. Over the course of my studies I learnt theoretical knowledge and research skills through critical analyses of the media. Plus, I developed hands-on, practical skills in multimedia content production and journalistic practice. I also wrote for The Badger Newspaper, my university's student newspaper, and was fortunate to attend work experience placements in journalistic institutions like Bauer Media and The Economist. Alongside my studies I was employed as a care worker for elderly, vulnerable and disabled people, and I carry the same requirement for compassion, drive and integrity into my media work.

After graduating from university, I joined Life In...Magazines, a local community magazine, for work experience. This developed into a paid role in which I supported the magazine OOH alongside full-time employment as a Public Relations Intern at Gensler, a global architecture and design firm. At Gensler, I learnt about the role of public relations in the media landscape and the built environment, developing competencies in strategic communications and forging lasting relationships with MarComms and architecture professionals.

My interests and expertise lie at the intersection of politics, art and culture and I am ever curious in learning more about these subjects.
